Founded CAMP TV in 1987. Doug is also the founder of Echo Lake Productions. Echo Lake has produced Academy Award nominated films, bringing home an Oscar in 2006 for the film TSOTSI. Doug received his undergraduate degree in History from Duke University, attended NYU Film School and received his MBA from Harvard Business School. He was a camper at Camp Longhorn and staff member at Camp Champions. Doug is currently a Board Member of the Foundation for Jewish Camping, and a past Board Member for Camp John Marc. 

David Betz – President
Joined CAMP TV Media in 1993. During his tenure with CAMP TV, David has served in every capacity of the company: shooting, editing and producing. His knowledge of the media industry is second only to his love for summer camp. David travels around the country speaking a numerous conferences about the benefits of media tools and effectively using them as an aspect of a camp’s overall marketing plan. He serves on the ACA Texoma board. David received his undergraduate degree in Journalism from Texas A&M University and his masters in Radio/Television/Film from the University of North Texas. His camp history began as a staff member at YMCA Camp Grady Spruce. david@camptv.net

Manuel "Manny" Salgado – Production Coordinator

Joined CAMP TV Media in 2007. Manny got his start with CAMP TV as a seasonal editor after graduating from UNT. He quickly moved up the ranks to become a leader on our full-time team.  Manny brings fresh new ideas, great camera and editing skills, as well as a love of music, to our creative team.  While in college Manny volunteered his time in several programs for children/youth and was a mentor and role model. Manny received his undergraduate degree in Radio/Television/Film from the University of North Texas. manny@camptv.net

Lydia Mann – Director of Operations
Joined CAMP TV Media in 1988. As an adjunct faculty member for two years at the University of North Texas, Lydia taught Television Production, Audio Production, and Copywriting. Her specialties at CAMP TV Media are writing and post production. Lydia received her undergraduate and masters degrees in Radio/Television/Film from the University of North Texas. She was a camper at both Latham Springs Baptist Camp and Camp Mount Lebanon Baptist Encampment. Lydia also coaches Upward Basketball at her church in Plano. lydia@camptv.net
